Ex-Google Tech Lead talks through Imposter Syndrome -- that feeling you get when you're a complete fraud and when you feel like everyone else around you is more qualified than yourself. "Fake it until you make it" is a common "cure" for Imposter Syndrome. But keep in mind, that a good team is composed of different people with different skillsets. Of course you will be in awe of your teammates, because they will likely have skills that you don't have -- that is intentional and by design. Demonstrate your unique strengths while letting others help you where you are weak. Especially in tech, more important than the knowledge that you may already have, is your ability to learn. Now, the real question is, do I have imposter syndrome as a software engineer? or am I faking my confidence in the video? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
